I realize that many of you have been hanging on the edge of your seats ready to burst as I have left you wondering for a month now, whether or not I made it out of Hellahemm , I mean Antarctica. Well I did. I apologize for all the stress and lost sleep that I'm sure everyone experienced as they worried about my whereabouts. I made it out as scheduled and have spent the last month traveling around the S. Island of New Zealand in a camper van.
Now, I am back in Sheridan.
I knew I had made it home when I witnessed a couple walk past me at DIA wearing matching real tree camo outfits. Also, on my flight from Denver to Sheridan, everyone was discussing the big game. When I asked the man next to me what "big game" everyone was talking about, he informed me that the Sheridan Broncs were playing in the state championship game. He started to tell me about the party he was supposed to be hosting at his house, a sort ofpre -game party before kick-off. Unfortunately, because of our delays he was going to miss the party and probably the whole game. I asked him if he had a kid on the team and his replyimmediately made me second guess my decision to come home a little early. He did not have a kid on the team. Just home town pride, which in Sheridan is hard to hide.
Here are some pics of travels from the last month:
